Applicants will ideally have a service background and have held the rank of major or equivalent. Shrouds of The Somme
6 RIFLES are assisting in a nationally recognised art project ‘Shrouds of the Somme’ running from 1-9 Jul 16.
Artist Rob Heard is hand stitching 19240 shrouded figures to be laid out in Northernhay Gardens located in the centre of Exeter City.
Bugler Carries on Family Tradition And Prepares to Perform at Horse Guards
25 year old Rifleman Elliott Hayward from Portsmouth enlisted into The Rifles in March 2014. After completing his Combat Infantryman’s Course in Catterick he joined the 4th Battalion in Bulford and after only 4 days deployed to Canada. Elliott is a third generation Soldier and a second generation Rifleman.
