The Rifles Association

BACKGROUND AND VISION

The central infrastructure for The Rifles Association (TRA) is in place to enable an Association to evolve over the coming years.  Until TRA is supported with established branches it is hoped that the current forming and antecedent Regiments’’ Associations and branches of the forming and antecedent Regiments of The Rifles will open their doors and invite riflemen who are leaving the Regiment to join a branch in his local area of residency.  The ideal ‘way forward’ would be for these already established branches to be the ‘building blocks’ of TRA.  The end state is to establish a RIFLES Association supported by a network of branches (existing and new) established wherever ex serving riflemen are residing, in numbers large enough to support the requirement.
