National Malaya and Borneo Veterans Association - Cenotaph March

Message from The National Malaya and Borneo Veterans Association
Would you like to march at the Cenotaph in Whitehall on Remembrance Sunday 8th November 2026.
Your Association almost certainly includes veterans who served in Malaya and Borneo in the 1960’s.
As such they probably already hold the GSM with bars for Malay Peninsula and/or Borneo. They may also hold the PJM (Pingat Jasa Malaysia).
2026 marks the 60th anniversary since the end of The Confrontation and we, the National Malaya and Borneo Veterans Association want to honour the occasion by mustering a substantial contingent for the Remembrance march past. Sadly, as with all campaign-based associations, our membership is slowly declining in both numbers and mobility which is why we are reaching out to you to offer you suitably qualified places alongside us.
At this early stage all we are looking for is expressions of interest and, if possible, an indication of potential numbers so we can make an early case to the Cenotaph Team at the Royal British Legion for an appropriate allocation of tickets.
In 2025, we had 22 registered marchers and were privileged to receive coverage during the televised parade. We want to make the 60th anniversary highly memorable if we can, and your support would be greatly appreciated.
