Veteran Rifleman Head to Nepal and Mount Everest

After losing his sight in a bomb blast on HERRICK 10 in Afghanistan in 2009, veteran Rifleman Paul Jacobs has become an inspiration to many people.
He has not allowed his disability to slow him down and in April 2024 he hopes to be the first blind British Army veteran and Rifleman to summit Mount Everest. But getting there is a challenge, and to do so Paul needs support.
He recently ran a half marathon to raise funds and this week heads out to Kathmandu, Nepal to visit Base Camp and get a sense of how big the challenge really is.
