
Battle of Arnhem Talk, Friday 27th September At The Keep Military Museum, Dorchester

The 80th Anniversary of the Battle of Arnhem (the 'Bridge Too Far') will be commemorated by The Keep Military Museum, Dorchester hosting a talk and drinks reception on Friday 27th September at the Dorchester Army Reserve Centre (Poundbury Road, Dorchester DT1 1TA). The drinks reception will start at 6.30 PM, followed by the talk at 7 PM. The talk will focus on the contribution to the battle made by the Dorsetshire Regiment, the Devonshire Regiment and the Dorset Yeomanry. The talk will be given by the military historian and author Christopher Jary and the military historian Lt Col James Porter. Tickets cost £15 per person and includes the following: 1. Admission to the talk. 2. Admission to The Keep Military Museum during the day (1000-1630). 3. Complimentary drink prior to the talk.
