“THE STORY OF SOLDIER MAGAZINE’ has opened at The National Army Museum.
Until Sunday 6th July 2025 visitors can learn more about the official British Army magazine and its significant impact as it celebrates its 80th birthday this year. Since its creation in March 1945, it has reported on every conflict and explored every aspect of service life.
Brigadier (Retired) Justin Maciejewski, DSO MBE, Director of the National Army Museum (and a Rifleman), said: “For 80 years, Soldier Magazine has covered every major conflict and explored issues at the heart of the soldier’s world. As the national home of the Army’s history and heritage, we’re delighted to partner with the magazine’s committed team to reveal the remarkable story behind this much-loved publication”
