Veteran Rifleman, Ian Hughes Summits Mount Everest raising funds for The Rifles Benevolent Trust

Veteran Rifleman, Ian Hughes (L) with Lt Col (Retd) Baz Melia MBE (R) having recently returned from successfully climbing Mount Everest - in the process raising £8,849 for The Rifles Benevolent Trust.

Next year Ian hopes to complete The Explorer’s Grand Slam (summiting the highest peaks on each continent, and skiing solo to the North and South Poles) to continue raising awareness about the regiment’s Trust and the Always A Rifleman Programme.
