Congratulations to veteran Rifleman Paul ‘Coco’ Cocoran for the award of his MBE by His Majesty The King

Congratulations to veteran Rifleman Paul ‘Coco’ Cocoran for the award of his MBE by His Majesty The King.
Coco, along with many volunteers and helpers, has raised in the region of £500,000 for The Rifles Benevolent Trust, which supports serving and veteran Riflemen in addition to veterans from all our antecedent regiments. Some of his challenges have included climbing Middlesbrough Transport Bridge whilst carrying a wheelie bin, summiting the top of the radar at RAF Fylingdales with his ironing board, carrying his kitchen sink the length of Hadrian’s Wall, walking in his pyjamas across the Coast 2 Coast route, and completing two separate marathons in body armour.
There are many more group and individual challenges that he took part in and arranged, and we hope all those involved recall them with a smile.
The regiment is proud of Coco’s achievements and salutes him.
Swift and Bold, Coco!
