The Bismarck Challenge

Congratulations to all the Riflemen who took part in The Bismarck Challenge. This event has been designed so that units from The 1st (UK) Division can come together to take part in an annual physical competition. Over 7000 Army personnel took part this year in teams of 4. Each of these teams ran a 4-mile route over undulating and difficult terrain with a total of 40 kg between them. This year 2, 6 and 8 RIFLES competed on behalf of The Regiment.

2 RIFLES finished 13th overall with a time of 36mins 39s.

6 RIFLES finished 113th overall with a time of 48mins 3s.

8RIFLES finished 7th overall and scored the highest out of any Army Reserve Unit (by some distance).
