All members of the regiment's five pillars (regulars, reserves, cadets, associations and communities) are invited to get involved and participate in Ex BOLD WALK. General Sir Patrick hands over as Chief of the General Staff on 15 Jun 24, and his leaving gift from the Army is going to be a silver goblet inspired by a RIFLES tradition.You will hopefully agree that this is fitting, given his 39(!) years of service to the Army.The gift is being funded entirely by personal contributions from across the General Staff, Army HQ, The Rifles, and association members

From the 5th until the 21st of June, both parents of Lt. Max George will be doing a charity walk from Edinburgh Barracks all the way to Bulford Barracks, covering a phenomenal 650km over 17 days.
