The Rifles Biennial Awards Dinner 2025

Last Thursday saw the regiment come together for The Rifles Biennial Awards Dinner at Guildhall in London.  

The 5 pillars (regulars, reserves, cadets, associations and communities) went full throttle and celebrated what makes The Rifles so special. We recognised some incredible individuals for their exceptional accomplishments in the presence of our Colonel-in-Chief and three other Royal Colonels.

Obituary of Captain Anthony Husher

Anthony (Tony) Husher, known to some as “Hush Pups”, who served as a junior officer on a short service commission in 2 RGJ in the 70s, has died in Nanyuki, Kenya, aged 76.  His was a life lived sometimes in the fast lane and sometimes on the hard shoulder.  Towards the end he relied on support from among his friends, former brother officers and colleagues from the Regiment and other military organ
